Our story

It started with a dog and a hand-cranked roaster

Benny’s Beans is named after a stubborn, lovable dog who kept us company through every early-morning roast. What began as a weekend ritual in a Düsseldorf kitchen became a small obsession with doing one thing well: treating good beans with patience.

We buy in small lots, directly from growers in Huila and Cerrado, and pay prices we’re happy to print on the bag. Every batch is roasted by hand and dated. Just honest coffee, made the slow way.

The story

This is the cup that turns people into single-origin drinkers. We work with smallholder growers high in the hills of Huila, pick only when ripe, wash clean, dry slow on raised beds, then roast in small batches so nothing gets between you and the fruit.

Tasting

Caramel drizzled over a crisp red apple, with a soft cocoa note on the way out. Medium-bodied, clean, and dangerously easy to drink cup after cup.

How to brew

Born for pour-over (a V60 at 1:16 makes it sing) but it pulls a sweet, balanced espresso too.

The story

The everyday cup you reach for on autopilot. Grown in Brazil’s Cerrado Mineiro and dried with the fruit still on the bean, so the sweetness runs deep. Low acidity, big comfort.

Tasting

Milk chocolate, toasted hazelnut, and a drizzle of honey, poured thick and syrupy. Almost no acidity, all warmth, made for mornings.

How to brew

A natural-born espresso that becomes a flat white you’ll think about later. Equally happy in a French press.

The story

Can’t decide? Start here. We married Brazil’s chocolatey weight to Colombia’s brightness and dialled it in until it tasted like the coffee we want every morning. Balanced, forgiving, brilliant however you brew it.

The story

Our love letter to the way Tehran drinks its coffee. We fold real saffron threads and freshly cracked green cardamom into our cleanest Colombian base, the aroma of a Persian kitchen, sealed in a coffee bag. Roasted in tiny batches, and when a batch is gone, it’s gone.

Tasting

It hits you on the nose first: floral saffron and sweet green cardamom over a smooth coffee base. So naturally sweet you’ll forget where the sugar is.

How to brew

Made to be sipped slowly and small: a cezve, or a short, rich cup. Steam it into milk and it’s the best spiced latte you’ve had.
